Microsummary Generators - Firefox Microsummaries

Wow!
This is one of the cool features that would be part of the upcoming Firefox 2.0 that impresses me very much.

If you’re wondering what the heck are Microsummaries, well here is the summary:
Microsummaries are regularly updated snippets of information that are a part of a web page.

Consider you’re browsing the Yahoo! Finance Stock Quote page, where you see lots of information, and you wish to see the stock quote for the symbol. So, what you used to do is, bookmark the page and keep clicking on the bookmark to see the stock. Instead, wouldn’t it be better if your browser checks the stock periodically and display it back to you?

There used to be such a feature in IE 5 on Mac — where the browser checks the Auction periodically and we can track the auction by just glancing the personal toolbar or whatever.

Such a feature (something like the son of live bookmarks would be part of the upcoming Firefox 2.0.

I’ve put together two microsummary generators, and you can download them from my software collection page.
