Firefox 2 might have a new User Interface

The Firefox user interface (the chrome) has not been changed since its 1.0 release. So, Firefox 2 might have a new and better user interface. The goals are simple:

  • remove UI elements that aren’t useful to majority of users
  • increase usability of elements that are useful
  • increase focus on web content

    Help me please…
I just installed Firefox 2.0, and all of a sudden, my username/password isn't being inserted in the signon window (it always was before). I tried the usual suspects–I did not mistakenly tell FF not to remember the password for this site; and I also tried the remember password bookmarklet, but all to no avail–FF will not ask me to remember this password. What do I need to do to get around this?

Did you build Firefox 2.0 from source? Or you installed the pre-built binary?
In either case, do you get any errors in the Error Console? If so, can you paste the error you get?
